The Model: V6 - V20 Series of Heavy Duty Lathes were developed
and designed to provide optimum performance with high cutting power while
providing versatility for use in a wide range of industries-general purpose
machine shops,mining industry,power industry, mechanics industry,paper
plants, shipyards,etc.
The VANTAGE Series feature,one of the most modern designs,provide
high operator efficiency and easy of operation,and are built and tested
to stringent high accuracy standards

All four models,3500,4000,4500,5000 have common features such

A fully universal gearbox provides the feeds and allows
a very large range of threads, without the need of changing transposing
gears. lnch, metric, module and diametral pitch threads are all selected
via the conveniently located levers. Feeds can be multiplied by simply
repositioning the levers.

Made of high quality cast iron, these components are
heavily ribbed to provide high stability The cross slide ways are hardened
and precision ground.
Lubrication by an independent pump with oil level,
for the ways, and the screw.
The compound swivels 360 degrees and can be clamped at
any angle. A6-way lever provides 6-way rapid traverse and power feeds for
the carriage and cross slide.
The toolpost is equipped with mechanical power feed,
it can do any oblique cutting. The toolpost has double nuts.
A long travel top slide is provided (400mm). |

Tailstock

Universal gear box
|
Massive body and rigid design of the tailstock ensures
stability under all cutting conditions.
The tailstock body is rigidly bolted on its ways through
preventing accidental slippage.
Positioning of the tailstock body is by crank and pinion
(optional is motorized displacement of the body).
The tailstock quill has two- (2) speeds selection by
lever, for rapid positioning and drilling. The handle for the tailstock
quill also has a dial to show the axial position of the quill. The quill
is also provided with a tang. The quill is made of high tensile steel,
which is hardened, ground, and honed, to a mirror finish. |
